President's Message

Dear members of the Wilton community,

As President of the Wilton Police Union, Local 1429, and on behalf of our membership, I would like to thank you for your unwavering support and for visiting our website to learn more about our organization.

Our members are more than just Police Officers - they are husbands and wives, fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters. Even those of us who don’t reside in Wilton feel just a part of the community as any of the residents we have sworn to serve and protect.

Times are rapidly changing, and the events of this past year have demonstrated the importance of being able to communicate from a distance. This is the main reason why we decided to create this website, so that you will always know what we are up to, and how to reach us, even if for just a chat. The members of our association have pledged to create a lasting partnership with the community and bridge the gap between officers and citizens by embracing our common humanity and desire for peace, safety, and the well-being of all.

Your support also enables us to embrace charitable causes that aim to give back to the community by helping those who are most in need.

We want to be available for you as much as we want you to engage with us as members of the same family. The members of the Wilton Police Union have taken an oath to ensure the safety of our community and its children, while upholding the highest moral and ethical standards of our profession

It is an honor and privilege to serve such a great community. The Wilton Police Union thanks you again for your support and wishes you and your families peace and health for years to come.

Sincerely,

Anna Tornello
