NYPD Ofc Anastasios Tsakos - EOW 4/27/2021

The members of the Wilton Police Union join the Tsakos family in the mourning of their beloved Anastasios. NYPD officer Anastasios Tsakos was directing traffic after a crash when he was struck by a drunk driver. Ofc Tsakos was a son, a brother, a husband, and a father, and a 14 year veteran with NYPD.

Ofc Tsakos leaves his wife, a 6 year old daughter, and a 3 year old son. His neighbors described him as a family man, a hardworking person, somebody who was always ready to lend a hand to help others.

As she said her last goodbyes, Ofc Tsakos’ heartbroken wife promised she won’t let their children forget what a hero he was.

Neither will we, Anastasios. Rest in Peace.
